good...and well said! You speak the truth...I just didn't want to sound rude or anything, so glad it wasn't taken that way.

I love Cate Blanchett. She was awesome in Elizabeth and Lord of the Rings. I think she is a fine actress. In this movie I was impressed with how she saved Christina Ricci's character..and she did a great job with the Russian accent. But that's off topic for this thread. Cesar, Cesar, I could never leave you Cesar!!

Couldn't help myself... watched it again today.... and cried... yet again.... It seems as though he truly believes she will stay... even though he tells her not to... so beautiful... so sad....

I totally agree....isn't it amazing how Cesar stole the show and he only had approximately 22 minutes of screen time in the movie?? (sigh.....)

Yes... Johnny seems to do that in a lot of his roles. (Chocolat ~ Roux... he is on for 19 minutes and captivates the crowd)
That's it... I'm typing up my ending to the film tonight!!!

Oh my I'm such a sap, I'm getting teary eyed just at the thought of her leaving him again! She slept soundly in his arms as he cryed over her body and then she just up and left for the thought of her father...
