In Spanish? Wow... no that's not weird... but I don't think I could do it... Let me know how it is once you read it... I'd like to read The Rum Diaries... but in English or French not Spanish

I already own it in English, that's why I want it in Spanish. It'll make the translating easier and it'll expand my vocab some. It's an awesome story. ;D I love The Rum Diary.

Barnes and Noble had it when I went there.. I bought the book after HST died, but that wasn't the reason why I bought it. I'd seen the movie a long time ago and since that point, wanted to read the book...so by the time I got around to it, Hunter had died... But I LOVE the book. To be honest, it was the only piece of literature that has made me laugh out loud. It's so insane that it makes you wish you could get away with everything Duke and Gonzo did.
Comparing it to the film, I'd say it's about the same...give or take a few parts. It was a lot better seeing the movie first, because I could 'imagine' the characters and situations a little more clearly.
It's one of the best books I have, and I brought it with me to college. Who knows? May need it for a book report...

Yeah. I'd totally get busted for trying to do what they did.
One time I did actually write about the movie because I did a paper on Johnny Depp. I think I mentioned how brilliantly he played Raoul Duke...something like that. Anyways, all the kids in my class were like "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? That movie is weird, but really funny!"
