Ok, I don't want this to sound really morbid or anything, I just happen to be interested in this kind of thing. I found the 'how would you like to die' conversation in the film really interesting so I decided to make a thread to find out just that. If you could choose any way, how would you like to die?
If this freaks anyone out please feel free to ignore me ;D

Hmm... I don't know.... I'd prefer something fast and "painless" as possible... but I would prefer not to die at all...LOL... if you know what I mean

Yep, I know what you mean ;D I have always quite fancied the notion of being eaten by a crocodile...I know it wouldn't be fast or painless but if I had to die young say, you know, if that was the way it had to be, then I would prefer to be an animal's meal than a car accident victim for example. I think I might have just betrayed how truly odd I really am

Yes... animals meal eh? That could be interesting.... I may want to be thrown off a cliff.... if I can go down with Axel... and our love can carry on for infinity!! ;D ;D That doesn't sound too bad.

That was such a romantic part of the film Right...I've just searched for this quote because what Axel says about eternal love reminded me of this: “I will love you for ever, whatever happens. Till I die and after I die, and when I find my way out of the land of the dead I will drift about for ever, all my atoms, till I find you again… ...And when we do find each other again we’ll cling together so tight that nothing and no one’ll ever tear us apart. Every atom of me and every atom of you…We’ll live in birds and flowers and dragonflies and pine trees and clouds and in those little specks of light you see floating in sunbeams…And when they use our atoms to make new lives, they’ll have to take two, one of you and one of me, we’ll be joined so tight…” ---that's from the Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman (the last book in His Dark Materials trilogy). I know it's a long quote but I thought it was appropriate. I think Axel would like it. I'm just a hopeless romantic at heart

Oh my ....that is a lovely quote!! Thanks for that Lynx.... *Thinks of Axel...* "We will love each other over and over... because.... because it's infinity" ---"And you want to go there with me?" ((That's me saying that )) "Yes"

oh, definitely freezing cold...for some reason I think about this quite a lot (weird I know). But the thought of being so hot that you died is a lot more horrifying than the thought of freezing to death...in my mind anyway.

I would have to say I agree.... and so hot you died... that reminds me of the devil... and that's not something I like to think about... so my vote goes with cold as well

Oooh, I like these questions Roo dear!
I would rather die in the ocean even though I have always hated the thought of drowning. I like the idea of being fish food more than the idea of being buried by a shifting sand dune though.
