Yep. Doctor and crazy boss man. Father and son. It's almost as if they're...dare I say it...actors who play many different parts in many different things! Oh and as a side note, the actor who plays Pete Tyler is not Pete Tyler but DC Mark Rivers from Russel T. Davies' other miniseries, Touching Evil, which I loved long before I ever started watching Dr Who. But again, that's just me. -Fiend

Goodness, this thread wasn't resurrected last year? That's quite a sad thing to behold. given that we saw the return of the Master from Old Who (without a beard; well, sort of), and a new companion who was rather brilliant in my opinion. I miss the Master the most though, being John Simm and all.
This show's 4th series just premiered yesterday. Who else saw it and had an opinion on it?

I have a couple! But none of them are new. I think I could flail about the awesome that is Donna for at least three paragraphs, even in the last episode where she flat out told the Doctor no, I'm not going. I wish more of the recent companions said that. Like Martha in the fob watch episodes. She really, really should have said no right then. ><

Well, if she had said no, John Smith would've still lost the fob watch and would've been quickly overwhelmed by scarecrow creatures. That would've gone very badly. Besides, she did say no...waaaaaaaay at the end. Which made her awesome. And Jack told him no at the end. Bannakaffalatta should've been the new companion. Or Donna's grandad.

Dude. Donna's granddad needs to come back into the series again. Which means the Doctor needs to go back to Earth. I miss her granddad.
Bannakaffalatta would have got annoying after two episodes though. The constant repetition of his name would have been like Chanthu. (Can I spell these character names? Nooo.)
But Donna's granddad ought to save the Earth.

Donna's granddad should have saved the Earth. Instead he gets the saddest ending in new!Who history. Poor Wilf. But, on the upside, the episode itself was hysterical until that point. Hooray for finales!
