But next I MUST find My Autobiography by Charles Chaplin Heee! ;D Have been scouring the internet for that pic. And though I have found hundreds of pics, not that one. edit: Gah! This is the cutest story EVER! search.csmonitor.com/durable/1998/02/26/home/home.1.html

OK, luvs. Don't mind me... I just found gobs upon gobs of cool sites. And I can't add anything to my favorites. So... I'm just gonna start leaving them in here, so I can find them again later. If anyone else wants to look, feel free... though I doubt anyone would care half as much as me to lose their mind looking through black and white pics from 80 years ago. But that's just silly me. Be back with linkies! ;D

Lol, no worries, luv. Like I said, I just put them there because I wanted to find them again. ;D I can't find any DVD's to rent. I can a VHS here and there, but my VCR has been rather tempermental lately, and the quality is kinda bleh. So I must find them on DVD! Yeah, right. *sigh* *goes back to ebay* Nothin. *sniff*

Hmm before, didn't you say you wanted to buy a volume of The Chaplin Collection DVD? I found one, specifically called "City Lights: The Chpalin Collection", priced at $26.06 from this neat site all about the DVD. Of course, it links to amazon to actually buy it, but they have really cool screenshots from the DVD, details, and a few reviews. www.dvdtown.com/discdetails/City_Lights_The_Chaplin_Collec/11861/*hopes I helped*

I was so close to finding what I wanted today. *sigh* I found the first volume!!! Starting at less that $5!!! But it was the wrong region. I'm afraid that I may have to resort to buying them one by one... but that will surely be more expensive, not to mention seriously time-consuming, and likely very frustrating. I hope I can find a set soon!! *hopes* In other news... still reading that biography... in the car... while driving. I've been reading it for over two weeks now and it's still so fascinating! It's so tortuous to read about each of his early films, because I want to see for myself!!!!! But I just can't right now. But I can't stop reading about them either. He single-handedly created something so new, and everyone took notice. He became the very first wold-famous person. No one before him had ever achieved that much fame. After two years in films, he became the highest paid person... well, ever. It was even remarked that the only thing more expensive than him was the war in Europe (WWI). This guy was making $1250 a week! In 1916!! It's crazy! Man, if I could only make that much now! Not even close.
