oh you'll love the book! it's very practical, true, funny, and it's really simple >__< no hard words.. it's just reality placed in a wonderful hardbound book. Haha.. and the best thing is.. if you try to imagine Johnny doing all the things Gilbert did on that book.. you'll roll over laughing so hard.. that it's priceless ;D sounds good, no?

It's a truly great book. I fully recommend it to anyone, be you a Johnny/Gilbert fan or not, you should read it, like right now!! The movie is absolutely excellent, but there are simply some things that you cannot be expressed on film. Even for such an actor as talented as Johnny undoubtably is. The inner workings of Gilbert's mind, the utter crap he has to put up with day in and day out...it's absolutely amazing. An amazing book.

I'm beginning to wonder. Is he Agent Sands about 15 years earlier?

Ooo...GG. What a truly excellent question!!!! It indeed bears pondering on. What happened to Gilbert after the book?? 'Course, in the movie it looks like all is well, and happily ever after...but I do indeed like the idea that Gilbert is a kind of pre-SJ. Very nice.
