My swim coach died this morning. He was the most in shape retired 50 year old man I know and he was such a sweet heart, so caring of everyone and supportive and encouraging... I was shocked and speechless when I found out minutes ago and don't know what to do with myself...

It was really sad.... And also last year my friend's cousin had cancer and was suppost to be in our grade but cou;dn't come to school... he was going to come to eighth grade graduation, and he was going to die soon... And he died the night before...... the whole school was sad.... It was horriable.... Death is a tradic thing Sorry to hear about the loss...

Dealing with death is certainly quite a task... not one anyone can master when needed.... it always comes as a shock... Doing your best is all we can ask, and that's what I'm trying to do at the moment... however painful. I don't know if this helps anyone else, but my bible always gives me assurance.

I'm sorry for everyones losses, I really am I'm also experiencing a tragic loss, although it hasn't happened yet. Like Rollie, my great grandma who is 97 is really sick. She's kind of suicidal because she's hurting too much. Some days she'll be talkative, cheerful, and able to recognize everyone. Then the next day, she can't talk, she won't know who you are, and she keeps poing her throat because she want's to poke a hole through it and die. Its terrible. She's currently at a Hospice, a type of old people home where those who only ahve about a week or so left stay and get taken care of till the end. I didn't know her very well so I'm really unable to burst out into tears and cry really hard. So I feel bad. My brother and the rest of my family are devasted, yet I'm the only one (along with the younger children of the family) who doesn't know what to do.
