STUPID QUESTIONS ALERT
OK I haven't seen this movie yet but have been listening to the soundtrack. I have packed the cover of the cd so I don't know any names of the songs, which would probably give me some answers.
1. Why does he have to shoot the cook? and please don't tell me because he needs to keep the balance. LOL
2. In track #9, is this a bullfighter scene? the reason I ask is that its like a bullfighter scene in reverse, the bull is already in the ring and its the matador that makes the entrance and why is there a dreamlike undertone or something like a second song running through this one? It is so Choleric/strong and unbreakable, whats the name of it?
3. When he takes a ride in the car and the driver says he can't go any further and says something like I cannot see, I have no eyes. Where have they ended up? A desert or something?
thanks to anyone who replies

1. ok the scene on where he shoots the cook goes a lil something like this: Sands- Mmmmm. You must try this. It is a slow roasted pork, nothing fancy just happens to be my favorite. And everywhere i go, i order this with a tequila and lime. And this is is by far the best it has been. Anywhere. In fact it is too good. In fact it is so good that after i finish eating, i'm going to walk straight into the kitchen and shoot the cook. because that is what i do. I restore the balance to this country. And now i expect the same from you my friend. by pulling the trigger El- you want me to shoot the cook? Sands- no i'll shoot the cook, my car's parked out back anyways. in simple words, he wants to kill the cook cuz the porks too good. you see, Sj's a bit ::insert crazy smiley here:: lol...ooh i found a crazy smiley! lookie! hahaha that definitly sums up sands! 2. actually, track number 9 is "Sand's Theme" and it comes on at the scene where he's puttin on all his gear to fight. heres a bonus: johnny wrote the music himself! 3. sand's eyes are taken out of the sockets by his traitor and enemies so he's blind towards the end of the movie. yupp thats why the chiclet boys there to help him! lookie: img1.photobucket.com/albums/0903/koreanpirate/072658dc.jpg [thats the reason fer the blood running down from his eyes, and the sunglasses] hope this helped!

3. They're driving, Sands wants the cab driver to take him to the center of the city, but there's this huge coup d'etat going on in the road so the cab can't go any further.
Driver: Get out. Sands: Why'd we stop? Driver: We can't go any further. Sands: Why? Why not? Driver: Look out there, it's a f*cking coup d'etat. Sands: I can't see, smeepmook, I have no eyes! *awkward silence* Driver: ...Well listen to it. Keep your money.
Something like that. It's a funny little scene where if the cab were to keep driving, it would have plowed over a bunch of people and most likely get blown up. -DaDi

Good work, all! ;D Indeed, in the scene where they can't go any further, the cab has stopped about a block from where people are blocking the street with guns and all kinds of mayhem.
PPL, I can't wait until you can see it! ;D

I'll resist the urge to say "The soundtrack! I love the soundtrack! Drinks all around!" (Sorry, SchizoDoc...it's so ::tempting::!) and just say that I cannot get enough of this soundtrack. It beats Chicago and Lord of the Rings ten to one. I think my favorite has to be either Traeme Paz that I'm using for a dance solo this summer or Dias de los Angeles which ... well, just absolutely rocks. High Flyer, despite the blood and pain and shear impact of that picture, all I could think was , "Man...he has such good hair!"

Yay, you got it! It's great isn't it?! You know, after watching the DVD a billion times, I am very disappointed that the music during the opening credits wasn't on the soundtrack! Robert! That was such cool music! Why did you leave it off?

Haha I agree CC! Hmm, I LOVE that song "Me Gustas Tu", it just has such a funky beat to it And at the time, I didn't know what it meant, and I asked one of my spansish friends online, but instead of saying "What does Me Gustas Tu mean?" I just merely said "Me Gustas Tu" to him, and he was all like o.O What? Then he explained to me it meant, "I love you" and then I had to explain to HIM why I said it oh my gosh it took forever lol. But glad you finally got the soundtrack DB! Don't wear it out now!
