Another Stupid Question Alert Ok at the start of #7 Pistolero, someones says 'I hate robbing banks' Why? Who said it? What does it have to do with the movie? When did someone rob a bank and why wasn't it in the movie I saw?

Pistolero is a piece by a different artist--not written for the movie, but just used by Rodriguez. I think the "I hate robbing banks" is a part of the original piece. It's not heard in the movie, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, the song is by Juno Reactor and that's the original version on the CD. Rodriguez liked it and used it in the movie, but not the 'I hate robbing banks" part.

Oo, I just got the soundtrack. I'm listening to it right now. It's soo good! Right now I'm on Flor De Mal. I love Pistolero, it's the song that's ALWAYS stuck in my head. And the Sands theme is awesome. I was unprepared, as I'm sure many of you were, when I took out the CD and saw a pictuer of Sands. It took me a while to realized why opened the case in the first place. ;D And the voice overs are just This will probably not leave my CD player for a very long time. -Ciao!

Yea, if read the lilttle thingy in the CD case, the packet, Robert wrote this long note about how the soundtrack came to be, and he said he wanted Johnny to compose since he's heard Johnny used to play in bands. So when Johnny came up with this brilliant piece of work, Robert accepted it as "Sand's Theme". Of course Johnny that it was bad and told Robert he could change it if he wants, or not use it at all. Heh, so modest ;D
