I wrote another one: JULY 9 2004!
I love the way we'd stay up all night talking. I love the way you hold me. I love the way your lips feel on mine. I love the way your hand feels on mine. But most of all, I just really love the way you love me.

hehe...i just wrote this one for an assignment for Charlie and the Chocolate factory ...The Wonkster Theres a story known by all of fantasy, life, and trust that begins with one man which chocolate is his lust He is rarely seen until this one day when 5 children got to meet him its a miracle, some might say. Why he let these people in? nonone would really know but by the end of this long day Charlie bucket had stolen the show All the other children were gone tempted by mere candy Charlie was smarter than that which would come in handy By the end of wonkas test he knew what was to be done He explained carefully to charlie what he had won Wonka would soon be retiring and the factory would be his no more he was handing it over to Charlie and he would never again be poor exstatic as surely he should be charlie went home with laughter and at the end of this poem i gues you could say that they all lived happily ever after

Thanks for bringing this thread back up LM&M, I guess I'll have to write a poem for the occasion...although I'm not sure inspiration is with me tonight. Wonderful poems you guys! Loved them all **EDIT** Inspiration came a-calling YouThe scratching of your pen at night While all the world was still The way you used to hold me tight Like no other ever will The deep smell of your overcoat That you hung in the hall The way you sometimes looked at me But never spoke at all The way fear lived inside your eyes From terrors I could not see I never understood you then Or why you still forgave me The way my ignorance of your pain Never stopped you loving me The way you were, the way you are The way you’ll always be

Nice poem Lynx! I'm glad you like the thread... I'll have to start writting poems again, I haven't written one since the summer and it's about time I start again! Lynx, you are an awesome writter, like Roo said. -edit- I looked bakc on the first page of this thread and saw this poem I wrote and really liked, so I'll post it again.
July 3, 2004 I feel pain, But can you tell? Do you think I'm so happy? Can't you see I'm living in hell? You don't know what I feel Like when I'm sad. It's like you don't give a smeep, It really sucks. You don't care how I feel. You just hurt me, So, just let me be!
Hehe, *sees the word "smeep" edited in there*

I wrote a new poem actually today...
11/27/2004
I can't stand these fights, They're killing me inside. All the times I make you cry, Am I really worth it? I don't want to cause you pain, The much that I already do. I love you to much to keep hurting you. Don't let me cause you pain. Don't let me. Just don't let me.

Oh my LM&M that's very good dear!
But it brought tears to my eyes...
Here's a poem my best friend wrote for me.... (yes he is a guy... not a girl... or this poem would be really odd!)
Why can people not be trusted these days, And they lie to get out of bad ordeals. They never find any different ways, They make the mood into a big bad meal. A person can be ID-ed by their lie, Some choose small lies that barely affect things. Then there are some that just might as well die, Because their lies seem to have left huge dings. But in the time of my life of searching, I’ve found one person that’s really truthful. Since I have known her she’s kept me lurching, And that keeps her ever more beautiful. So when the world turned out to be smelly, All I needed was someone named Kelley.
(it was a poem for school.... and he was really mad at his girlfriend for continously lying to him... I don't like her... rar...)

Aw, that's really sweet. Trust is a VERY important thing and if you lie...well...*shrugs* Tis a bad thing. Very nice poem Roo, I don't think I've ever read a poem by a male friend of mine...they're not really the creative type ;D

Really? That's a shame... I'm not creative when it comes to writing poetry... I can write storys.... but not poetic... rhyming ....and artistic writing like that...
