The only flaw in the sweater theory is that angora comes from rabbits.. not sheep.. but still, it COULD have some sort of connection.

Ooooh, an Ed Wood theory? This is right up my alley! ;D *His future Angel* Hmm, that's quite interesting. In Mr. Burton's movies, he seems to always make references to his other movies, doesn't he? I've seen a few cameos of Jack Skellington, for instance. This would be the first time that he's made a reference to Ed Wood, though. Oh, and by the way... I'm back!!

You know in CatCF when They are in the elavator and he says.." Ladies and Gentlemen..welcome to fudge mountain" well..That part reminds me of Ed wood so much..he actually reminds me of ed wood aliot through out the whole movie.. partly because the fake teeth..and the high pitched voice...

I was like *doink...!* Jackson! But then I was like... Johnny'd be hotter molester, so Willy's cool... And then I was like... Well, Willy still thinks he's a kid, so he'd be in love, and not molesting. So, that was cool.
And I just couldn't help but getting brassed at the people who pair up underage Charlie with Willy, I was like "OMG? Who the hell tears apart a bond like the one Johnny and Freddie have??? HOW SICK!!!"
(but if Charlie's like, over 18, all's cool!)

That's weird, man. Weird. Meaning I was under the comforting impression that Willy was repulsed by most children-- expect Charlie, of course, who he thought of merely as an innocent apprentice of sorts. Can't we just leave CATCF out of the sexually screwed up world? Please and por favor? Who says an adult and a kid can't be friends? Even in real life, Johnny and Freddie Highmore are "best friends," and you don't see people making cracks and perverted fics about them, do you? It steams my brocolli.

I'm with you, Artisan There are too many people who try to destroy the beauty and the innocence in the world. Let's not join in. I thought exactly the same thing! He did sound like Ed Wood introducing his new movie

Did anyone else notice that there seemed to be another Willy Wonka behind his enthusiastic mask? That Johnny made hints as to the personality beneath the children's talk show host? I mean literally, there were moments when you saw a glimpse of the "real Willy" as Johnny put it. And this whole idea interests me. How does Willy act when he's not around company? Oh, I need to watch the movie again.

Oh me too! I think it was great how Johnny did that! Unfortunately I'm afraid we can only guess what Willy is like when he's not around company.. Except perhaps, if you could find out (really sneaky) as your Willy's Angel now!

Yup! Obs and I've gotten our wings! ;D ;D ;D And, PH, that was actually the grand plan. I'll try and pry off his on-screen persona and see what I get.

I think Johnny was most awesome as Mr. Wonka. The whole movie was simply hilarious! The original wasn't so funny. I thought it was cool how he not only moved CHarlie and his family into the factory, but the whole house too. Also, in this version, you got more of a background of Willy's child hood and how he became the way he is. Another thing..PURPLE..lots of purple, my very favorite color..*giggle* Did anyone notice that even Willy's eyes are purple?

Of course! They really give him a sparkling genius kind of edge. Do you remember your favorite part of the film, Greenhorn?
