The strange thing about Willy's eyes are that they aren't purple when he's a child or when he's trekking though the rain forest. Only in the factory.
The things you notice with repeated viewing.
And am I the only one who things WW needs to hook up with Fred and George Weasley? I mean, the hair taffies are right up their alley! And so is the bubble gum that Violet shouldn't have eaten.

They would work very well together, I think. I noticed Willy's multi-coloured eyes too....wish I had me some purple contacts, now that would be cool ;D

I love this movie!! I think Johnny rocked!
Some of my fav lines:
Good morning starshine, the earths says hello!!
Chewing gum I hate the most chewing gum is really gross
I also love everytime he said Little girl or little boy instead of their names.
Aw and Freddie was such a cute Charlie. I loved him in Finding neverland and was thrilled that he was Charlie!

They all did a true, spoggy job. No doubt. ;D I never noticed! Not in Wonkaland or childhood, hm? Well then the purpleness must be from the great relclusive behavior of his factory confidement? And that would be perfect! I'd love to see a Weasley/Wonka collaboration. Just think of the explosions!

(Double post. Ew. Sorry.) But WOAH! I hate to make this a cliche but, I just had the strangest revelation!Hint One) Johnny himself said that Willy Wonka was putting on a 'mask,' as it were, for the whole film. Hint Two) Whenever another child of the five would be lost in the factory, Willy looked as if he was rather enjoying it. Hint Three) Not only that but if you watch closely, you'll find that it was possible for Willy to influence each of the naughty kiddies. (Augustus and the Chocolate Room, Violet and the world's best gum, Veruca and the irresistable squirrels that she seemed to love, etc. etc.) Hint Four) The Oompa-Loompas knew each and every song, perfectly. And whenever Willy's answer to this was challenged, he ignored it. Coincidence? Me thinks not. HE SET IT UP! I swear on my left toe that smooth Sands is not the only Johnny who "rigs the game." What do you think of this?

Of course he did! ;D He set it up so that if a child was rotten he would know it and they would be punished, presumably he was hoping that out of five children, one would not be rotten...and of course, that's where little Charlie comes in. Don't know what he would have done if they'd all turned out to be brats! But I have no doubt dear Mr Wonka knew exactly what was going to happen to the other four children I love the look he gives as he opens the gate for Mr Salt...gets me every time And the way he looks up when Augustus is in the chocolate river Priceless. Love the evidence collecting Nutty, what an Angel!

Yeah! Evidence was inevitable, given how many times I've now watched the film. But that awesome. He's such a genius. What would he have done if Charlie had failed like the others? So much to ponder, Jay! I heart this movie!!!

I reckon he would have tried to think of another way to get an heir...I don't think he could have let anyone meddle with his factory if they even had an ounce of brattiness. He definitely would have been disappointed though. Thank goodness for Charlie ;D!

Oh yes. Bless that boy! I'm still reeling over Freddie Highmore's performance. It's was DEAD ON. Ultra fantastic. I don't think anyone could have made a better Charlie than that little fella. He was perfect! ;D

Cotton candy was what I thought..LOL! I got it on DVD the day it came out, but I am slightly bummed. I bought(so i thought)the widescreen version(says so on the box AND the disc itself) but when i played it, it WASN'T! and aroudn here, once you've opened a cd/DVD/videogame/software the stores will NOT take it back, I dunno why. Really ticks me off cause I like my movies in widescreen if they are available. I dunno why it would say widescreen version(they had a fullscreen version too) andf then not be! Anyway..I still love the movie and have watched it about 50 times since I bought it..simply hilarious each and every time..and then of course there's Johnny...*sigh*

Oh no, LadyM...Are you sure there's no way you can change the settings and make it widescreen? If not, then that's really annoying! Too right
