Of course you are welcome, Mr. Duke!! Especially since you seem to be almost as F&L focussed as I do. -FF

thnx HF and caribb. crusader, my page is quite large.. so if it doesn't load within 10 secs or so.. don't blame your comp. Blame your connection or me The song you hear (expecting to fly) is a 1.3MB flash file. I also use some bitmaps on the page... so that causes the lag. Sorry by the way, check one of my other hobby's!! www.mcnunspeet.nl/zijspancross/en

Nah, I still blame my comp. It's been turtle-slow this last week. But I just killed 17 spyware programs, so I'll give it another try. Hey there, Duke. Would you mind if affiliated with you? I've got some banners if you wanna swap.

My apologies, luv! Lol, I doubt very strongly that you are dumb... but you sure fooled me about being foreign! Let me explain for you! Btw, where are you from? PM= Private Message. At the top of the page, where it says "Hey, RaoulDuke, you have _ messages, _ are new." up there. You can click on the numbers (see, they are white, instead of blue) and it will take you to your Private Message inbox. There you can read your messages, and send replies. Cool, huh? "How about that F&L?" That was my poor attempt at being funny and getting the thread back on topic. F&L is a little abbreviation we use around here to mean Fear & Loathing. "How about that Fear & Loathing?" Yeah, I know. It's not that funny. Anyway, check your messages! And let's get this thread back on topic. I'll try a better question to get the ball rolling this time. Terry Gilliam sure had directed some interesting movies. To say the least! Have you seen any of his other films? How does F&L compare to them? Any thoughts?

hrrmm [i've been saying hrmm alot these days.. hrm...lol] i wouldn't know because i never saw this movie before BUT! I just bought it today!! yay! so off I go to watch it, be back in a few to write me review! ;D [edit] ok! here it goes: First off, I would just like to say, Johnny was brilliant in this movie, isn't he always? But anyways, this was one of the most humorous movies I've seen with Johnny, with all the craziness they caused from the drugs, and all the things Raoul was seeing. And can you believe it? I was DROOLING over Johnny, in his highwaters, bald head, pulled up socks, and tea sunglasses, an experience I never thought I would go through. [now I REALLY know what you mean, CC ;D] This movie was hilarious from beginning to end, and it was so funny how usually, Gonzo was actually INTO the scene and doing the talking, while Raoul is just goofing off, getting high, like in the diner scene. But yea, it's only been about 10 minutes since I saw this movie and I've already been infected. Fer example, I was gonna ask my mom if I had school tomorow, and she walked by my bedroom so I yelled out "WAIT! MA'AM SIR, BABY CHILD, WHATEVER!!", she came back, looked at me wierd, and walked away. and then now, I'm starting to type like him, rocking back and forth, and punching the keys, one by one. hehe, might aswell go and watch it again! HF's rating: 5 out of 5 baby!

Johnny as always looked great even with a bald head and some terrible sunglasses!

Ahhh, you just saw the movie for the first time, HF? Exxxxceeeellllentttt muahahahahaha you've been subverted..... Erm, ok, not really....don't know where that came from....I think I may have had one to many super caffeninated energy drinks already this evening... "Those of us who had been up all night were in no mood for coffee and doughnuts. We wanted strong drink..." I've had three sleepless nights this week...yeah, that's my excuse. Anyway...I'm glad you enjoyed the movie!! It's a load of fun to watch the for the first time. I remember the experience fondly. Johnny is absolutely hillarious and a pleasure to watch, from his shiny bald head down to his knee-high socks. ;D And Benicio is excellent as Dr. Gonzo as well. Heck, everybody's excellent in this movie! I loved Christina Ricci as Lucy. Very amusing. She got to bite Johnny's leg. ;D What can I say? I just LOVE THIS MOVIE!! -Fearless F.
