Yes I know. Shes in so many movies with Johnny. I wonder how. I mean, do you think its just a coincedence that she gets to be in so many Johnny movies? I guess people could say they work good together....but I'm becoming very jealous of that woman. Alright. I'll stop rambling...Im just really out of it tonight. F&L! All I can say is it was so freaking hilarious I was rolling on the floor laughing. "NO! WE CAN'T STOP HERE! THIS IS BAT COUNTRY!" Ahaha. Wow...can you believe this is my FIRST post in the F&L Thread?! *kicks herself*

Woah, I just saw Fear and Loathing for the first time today....*gah*
I got all ready to come on here and have a big rant about how great it was, not to mention TRIPPY, lol but I see you guys have already beat me to it. Aw.
This movie has got the be one of the most RANDOM movies I have ever seen! So bloody funny. Especially with the bats at the beginning.
I have to say I wasn't a big fan of Johnny's hair situation, but when he had that hat on, it was all good.
Lol, great movie...;D

Yea!! Another convert!! Come join the fold!! I found Duke's hair, or lack thereof, more funny than anything else. What's even funnier is the fact that he had Hunter himself shave it off before filming. ;D Glad you liked the movie!! -The Fiends & Piggy

Well, after finally getting my mom's permission to watch it, I have to admit I was a little scared to pop the tape it the VCR...but I did so anyway. During the movie I was like..."What the bleep?"...in between my fits of laughter. Some of the scenes were scary...but a funny-scary, not a ahhh-scary. Johnny's role was magnifcent (<<don't use that word too often), but I could swear I saw some Ed Wood, Cry-Baby, and Cptn. Sparrow in Raoul throught the movie. Ah, it could be my imagination...but ya never know.
Oh, ya, did anyone after they saw the movie act high while you were walking around the house and talking with family right after you had watched it? That really freaked my mom out...

wow!! F & L was a good movie because Johnny Depp was in it, but I was seriously confused!! I never would have watched it if it weren't for JD! It was amusing though, what parts I actually watched. Whenever he was high I found it quite funnny!! Abd his hair was hilarious!!!hahaha!! Did you ever notice how most of the movies Johnny is in, he is always smokinmg or doing some sort of drug?! hehe Could someone point me in the direction of the Summary forum? Thank YoU!

I just recently got my mother to see this movie... It was really pretty amusing to go between the TV and her facial expressions. She really didn't approve of my seeing it in the first place... but by the time she had an opinion on this matter, I'd already owned it for several months... All that was left was for her to watch it. It's probably for the best though that she never got to finish the movie... I still love it, though. As for a summary... I didn't find one in my search, but imdb.com would no doubt have a decent one.

OMG I know what you mean onetokefool! I watched it the first time with my mom! It was like every ten second,"please god, turn it off." She was appaled, and she loves Johnny Depp but when she watches those movies where the people are really screwed up or have freaky lives, she gets so weirded out....not that the movie wasn't a little off....but you gotta love the Johnny!

Most definitely gotta love the Johnny. ;D I think she said afterward something to the effect of... 'Someone who takes that many drugs can't be that smart, even if they are a doctor.' Ouch...

Heh. I suppose that's true, although Dr. Gonzo wasn't exactly a doctor, he was a lawyer... but yeah, a LOT of people were taking a LOT of drugs then. It kinda makes me wonder what living in that time period was like... Ok, I don't know why I used that smiley, I've never used it before... -The Fiend & Piggy
