Ok I am going to throw myself out on a limb here and confess that I have seen this movie while tripping on acid.
I tried to watch it sober and it seemed kind of stipid to me. One day, we got some acid (and no I am not a druggy and this was some time ago) and we watched this movie and I have to say: You have never experienced the full affect of this movie until you have seen it on acid. It was hilarious!! and after, you feel just like the characters for the rest of the night.
But like I said, I do not do drugs, I am not a druggie, this was just something I tried a few years ago

HAHA HAHAHAHA I finally checked out this movie and at first i was totally like "what?!" lol i was so confused. Cause they just seemed to be high and crazy. And i was like "is there a plot?" The plot is really loose, and thats why the movie is great, haha, cause its a struggle to keep up with johnny and benecio and their bizarre encounters and adventures. It's pretty much them just runnin around. This definately added on to johnnys range as an actor, he was so good in this movie. Haha I love how his movements in this movie were kinda like his ones in POTC, especially his hand movements. I <3 this movie! Another hit for johnny!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Another convert. *cackles* Glad you limed it!!! ;D -The Fiend & Piggy & Fishy And yes, I thought that Duke's hand movements laid the foundation for the future Jack's Sparrow's...uniqueness. And that's just nifty. ;D

Ok, I finally watched all of F&L, and I have to admit that I like it ever so much more as a whole than I did when I only saw half. I even made sense in some spazmatic sort of way. I gotta salute you for taking Duke one, but then again, he's a smart guy, if high most of the time. Bon Bon, Ed, and John (Earl of Rodchestor) wander through the casino.[/color]

Sigh. Yeah, that Lucy...er, Christina...she's one lucky lady. *snicker snort* She got to bite Johnny's ankle. Oh, and Psnoo-I'm so very glad you sat down and gave F&L a chance. My Dukey is worth the time. ;D And spazmatic is a good word. -The Fiend & Piggy & Fishy

DB, Bon Bon, John and Ed can be seen playing a few hands of black jack off at a table.
Okay, Bon Bon. One more hand and then it's back to the bio thread with you.

This movie is hilarious! I love (lime) it! I'm so glad someone made me a copy of it when I go off to college! It really doesn't have a plot...but that's what makes the movie so great!
Lol I thought It was so funny to see Chris Meloni play the gay hotel guy in Las Vegas! So did NOT know he was in that movie! Where he screams at those old people, and lets Duke go past...haha Sven!

That part was hysterical!! but i think he would have been wiser to not let Duke in... LOL! but that would have ruined the funnyness. and we don't want that!

Another hit for johnny! that's exactly what i was thinking... i saw it yesterday, i actually got it yesterday, and at some point in the movie i was really wondering: what's the point of this movie? haha! i was like: huh? is there a plot, i don't get it.. this makes no sense! but it was really cool to watch, now i know what it might be like if i'd take drugs, but then without the drugs, savvy? lol! oh, and the movements were definitely great, yes, the way johnny walks in this movie... it just cracked me up!

There is a point to the movie/book even if it is rather well hidden. It's about the journey of two men trying to find the "American Dream" such as it is, in Las Vegas in the '70s. Now granted, drug usage plays a HUGE part in this movie, but their search for the American Dream is still the idea that keeps them all together. It's funny to think that a movie like Fear & Loathing actually has a deeper meaning buried within it, but 'tis true. I am very glad you all liked the movie though. You have made me a very happy Fiend. ;D -The Fiend etc.
