Davy Jones' locker is pretty much the equivalent to hell, from what I've gathered. So Jack was very much dead. (In fact, the entire crew may have been dead for awhile. I'm pretty sure that falling off the edge of the world has that effect.) Anyway, Jack came back to life as a resullt of the whole "up is down" thing, and there was that flash of green light. Or at least, that's how I understood it to work from the movie. Yes, he's dead... but he's worse than dead. Tia Dalma says the Locker is a place of horrible punishment so that does sound very hell-like. They never clearly explained that the whole crew was then, in fact, also dead but that certainly seems to be true. Alright, I think we've got this down now. As for tempetuous sea goddesses, I'm not so sure about their sense of fair play. Perhaps I've read too much Greek mythology. "A woman as changing and harsh and untameable as the sea." Certainly seems to describe the crab lady. And then the line she gives Jones about he wouldn't love if she wasn't what she was or some such. The sea is indeed a cruel mistress. Okay, okay....the movie improves vastly upon a second viewing. I so agree. The first time I was just in disbelief at how nuts the story went. Had to spend a good amount of time digesting it, really. The second time I was already prepared for the wierd and wonderful and the movie was much more enjoyable. I could focus on the little things more. There are so many great little things. So now I have two different views on the locker. Jack was either taken or dead. Maybe another sequel could answer this for us?! Do not speak this! No sequels! It was pretty cool how they had pirates from everywhere, I just wish they'd done more than have a council, fight and hoist flags. I would've liked to see a little help from the peanut gallery on that one. You said 'peanut.' Hehe, sorry. I agree! I really wanted them to get in on the battle at the end... but where did they go? Ah well. That end fight had enough going on as it was though, eh?

I'm a bit late getting here and this is a bit off topic but I loved the movie to death and I plan to go see it at least 2 more times. I've gone twice already ^.^ Dream, we should definitely go see it together at some point in time.
I made my parents wait for the credits to be over, hehe. I'm glad I did, it was cute.
Did anybody get the Rolling Stone with Johnny + Keith on the cover? It's now on my wall >.<

NE, of course we will. I might see it with Tyler and I must see it with Gage With us, it wasn't a question. We all stayed in our seats until the movie (credits and all) was over. I absolutly LOVED the crabs. I just thought of this old commercial. I pinch. They were adorable. I thought Jack had just gone crazy. =D

I just realized there were no eunuch jokes in PotC3. OMG! You're right! There were none whatsoever. That's sad.

It is sad! I mean, we had the sea turtle joke, the undead monkey being shot out of a cannon joke, the dog with the keys bit. Why no eunuch?

Come to think of it, didn't we only get one 'savvy?' just right at the very end?

Hehe. I'm the question asking queen! #rotfl# 1. Did we ever find what mark Jack left on Beckett? Beckett branded the 'P' on Jack's arm but what about Beckett?
2. And I never actualy asked this yet but I've been wondering about it since the second movie. When you see the brand on Jack's arm of the letter P in DMC it's on the side of hs arm but I noticed that the 'P' brand/tattoo from the first film had dissappeared from his arm. What's that about?

I'm pretty sure thats the same P from the first, just in the first, Norrington had to lift Jack's shirt to uncover it and since it's been uncovered, it's more out and about in the second and third. I absolutely lovedd this movie! Despite critics saying that the plot was too "confusing" and there were too many characters and whatever, I thought it was a grand finale to the trilogy. Everyone was amazing, the feel of the movie was so kickass, and the special effects were godly. Everyone was just betraying eachother and then in the end everything is okay. I love the whole idea of everyone having their own agenda and goal. It's very piratey if you ask me. Oooh and the end end after the credits, yea, I'm kind of irked that they made it a happy ending, I was kind of content with Elizabeth having to wait 10 years to see Will and Will having a crappy job, but ah well
